Sesame a tiny bakery is looking for an experienced pastry baker to join our team. This a part-time position (12-15 hours) with weekend morning availability a must, and some flexibility to add on pastry prep hours especially as we move into the holidays would be fantastic. Cake assembly and any experience with lamination would be great, but we are also willing to train the right baker who has at least 1 year of kitchen experience. We are a hardworking tiny collaborative team that helps each other out, we all do the dishes, stand on our feet for many hours, lift heavy and hot things, and welcome our customers with kindness and respect. We seek a thoughtful and organized baker who can join us and help us grow. We all take pride in our work and work hard to make everything we bake and that fills our cases delicious and beautiful. We use the best tasting seasonal fruit and organic ingredients and hope that inspires you too.
Pay is based on baking experience, our base pay starts at $20 plus hourly tips ($3-$10) shared equally with our FOH.
