The ideal candidate will have formal culinary training and at least five years of experience crafting wholesome, delicious dishes. This role involves meal preparation, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation:
Cook fresh, healthy meals, ensuring variety and balanced nutrition.
Collaborate to plan weekly menus featuring seasonal, nutrient-dense ingredients.
Portion and prepare meals for easy storage, including snacks or future meals.
Grocery Shopping:
Shop for quality ingredients, prioritizing organic and local products.
Track pantry inventory and restock essentials.
Kitchen Management:
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen after each session.
Follow food safety and storage best practices.
Adapt to dietary preferences, restrictions, and special requests.
Qualifications:
Culinary training (certificate or degree preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on healthy meal preparation.
Strong knowledge of food safety and handling.
Experience sourcing ingredients and managing inventory.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Schedule & Compensation:
Come in twice or thrice a week to prepare meals (schedule to meet family needs).
Rate: $30–$40 per hour, with grocery expenses covered.
