Playa, an exciting restaurant in downtown Mill Valley, is seeking a personable and experienced Host to join our team. As the first point of contact and the last impression, you will engage our guests with your professional yet warm and welcoming demeanor, setting the pace for their experience. Your main responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, and answering phones, all while maintaining a cool and friendly attitude.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and be adept at multitasking and prioritizing. Candidates should be well-groomed, passionate about the hospitality industry, and able to maintain grace under pressure. Previous upscale casual dining experience is preferred.
This is a part-time position, with full-time consideration given to candidates seeking opportunities for growth and advancement into management.
Competitive Hourly Rate + tips.
PAY SCALE: Hourly Non-Exempt $16.00 -$20.00 per hour plus tips.
