PM Line Cooks & Sous Chef Needed - Hurrica

Hurrica, newly opened in the West Point Marina, features a live fire hearth, exposition kitchen, and seasonal dishes cooked over open flame. We are looking to fill the following kitchen positions:

Sous Chef

PM Line Cooks

Sous Chef requirements:

Three years experience in a busy, full service restaurant.

Strong line work experience in a fast-paced environment; a sense of urgency.

Experience with food cost, inventory, labor cost, administrative paperwork, and ordering.

Assist the executive chef with menu development and implementation.

Ability to compose creative dishes using seasonal and local produce.

Must be a team player, with strong communication skills to lead, motivate and manage staff.

Professional and respectful demeanor while staying calm and composed under pressure.

Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Offering competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, 401K, and paid time off after one year.

PAY SCALE: Salary Exempt $66,560-$75,000 (depending on experience)

PM Line Cooks requirements:

Two years cooking experience in a busy, full service restaurant.

Strong line work experience in a fast-paced environment; a sense of urgency.

Reliable and follows directions.

A team player and respectful to your fellow team members.

Must be available nights and weekends.

Offering competitive wage and benefits.

PAY SCALE: Hourly $23-$26/hour (depending on experience)
