We are seeking passionate, self-motivated Full time Kitchen Manager that can promote the values and culture of our company through professional leadership to our employees. This is an hourly position that reports directly to the District Manager and indirectly to others in corporate management.
As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible in overseeing day to day kitchen operations while maintaining a safe, sanitary and positive work environment for the staff. Responsible in leading a team in unloading, weighing, prepping, and cooking food products. It involves in the planning and allocation of resources in meeting kitchen demands. The work environment is a clean, fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting where quality food is prepared efficiently, on time and up to the company’s standards.
This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, passionate individual in a fast-paced, high-growth atmosphere. Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
Duties:
Responsible for tracking the daily operations of the kitchen
Provides professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel
Ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet specifications and commitment to quality.
Assists with the development of recipes, food preparations, and presentations that meet licensure specifications and commitment to quality.
Maintain standards and consistency of product being sent out the door
Requirements:
Self-motivated and able to follow through on multiple and concurrent assignments
Experience leading a team in a high-volume environment
At minimum, must have High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
Serve-Safe certification within 6 months of employment required
Knowledgeable in local, state and federal health sanitation laws, including Department of Health guidelines.
Strong organization and documentation skills
Bilingual is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing. Repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot, and/or physically demanding.
