Akira restaurant is located in the lower Pacific Heights neighborhood. We are looking for people passionate about food and highly motivated to deliver the highest standards of customer service. We are seeking a Sushi Chef Helper to work part-time or full-time, and part time/full time server.
Sushi Helper Responsibilities:
- Make roll
- Cut fish
- Prepare fish and vegetable
- Stock closing shift
Requirements:
- Knife experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Efficient, dependable, and responsible
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work five days a week for lunch shift
- Eligible to work in US
Server Responsibilities:
- Must have server experience
- Must have experience in Japanese cuisine
- Can work lunch (up to 6 shifts) and or dinner (2-4 shifts)
- Must have a great command of the English language
- Must have flexible schedule that will include nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have valid or be able obtain a food handler card in first 30 days
-Complete ABC server certificate to serve alcohol
