Goemon is an Omakase style sushi restaurant located in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, one block away from Golden Gate Park! We also serve a rotating sake and wine menu, serve daily specials and offer a variety of Japanese dishes.

Head Sushi Chef
A detail oriented culinary leader who will be a hands-on mentor in the kitchen with the ability to adapt quickly to changes and create an amazing experience for our guests. Be able to develop menus and specials and work closely with team members. You have expertise in Sushi production, Omakase, fish fabrication, inventory control, an impeccable eye for detail.
SUSHI CHEF
- Minimum 1 year of sushi chef experience required
- Knowledge of cutting and preparing fish is a must, including preparation of sushi rice, vegetables, and sauces
- Prepare all types of sushi, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the sushi bar and equipment
- Ability to prepare food for consumption with background knowledge of proper techniques and equipment to be used
- Work and prepare food in front of guests at the sushi bar
SERVERS
Previous Japanese restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!
- Friendly, approachable and eager to provide the best service for our customers
- Ability to handle money accurately and operation a POS system
- Willing to be a team player and run food to tables and assist wherever needed
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of sake and wine a plus
