Ice cream season approaches! Curbside Creamery is seeking servers for our local owned, small but busy ice cream shop in Temescal, with great tips and a fully vaccinated staff. Food and/or customer service experience preferred, most shifts fall in the evening, and we are flexible around number of shifts worked a week. We produce all of our own product, and offer 50% traditional dairy 50% vegan options.
We are looking for some available for 2 to 5 shifts a week, who will stick around through the end of the summer at the least. Must have flexibility for nights and/or weekends, when the shop is busiest.
Duties include:
-Scooping ice cream
-Ringing up customers
-Making waffle cones
-Washing dishes and cleaning (lots of cleaning!)
-Maintaining product stock and FIFO
-Restocking and reorganizing
-Being mindful of allergen concerns and dairy/vegan product separation
-Writing the flavors on the glass front of the case with colorful markers
Tips can run upwards of $10 an hour on top of the $17 starting wage. There is no dress code outside of health department requirements, staff can pick their own music, etc. Both surgical and kn95 masks are provided, rapid tests kept on hand, and sick staff members are required to stay home.
