Seeking Sommelier/Server in Dogpatch

Ungrafted is a chef-driven restaurant with a serious wine program in the Dogpatch. We are seeking a sommelier/server who can seat a table, help them with beverage questions, take their orders, run their food and make sure they have everything they need in between.

This is a great place to learn steps of service but also learn to work quickly. It’s a fun environment, with great guests who travel a lot and already know a great deal about food and wine. Our guests do expect a high level of service, despite a more casual environment. This is a job for people who like multi-tasking.

We are on the hunt for a very specific type of person-fun, friendly, weird, a multitasker, a wine/beer/sake/sherry lover, and a strong conversationalist. Our regulars come in multiple times a week and they like to get to know the staff. Our staff is very close to one another, and we are looking for someone who fits in with –and adds tothe existing Ungrafted culture.

You do not have to be a certified sommelier to apply but you need to have strong restaurant experience and an equivalent amount of wine knowledge.
