BACKGROUND INFO:
We are located in the beautiful Berkeley Marina. Large public parking. We are seeking a server and a bartender that have a growth mindset, and a strong desire to deliver excellent work. Our staff is family oriented and value growing together, help each other when we are in the pits, and seek to resolve issues asap.
We opened in January 2024, and we have been steadily establishing ourselves as the premiere seafood restaurant in the east bay area. Many are considering us a hidden gem and we deliver a unique dining experience in that our large covered patio serves as our main dining room. We have an open kitchen concept, and we aim to deliver great food, and establish ourselves as a service and hospitality restaurant. Our guests are treated to a beautiful view of the Berkeley/SF Bay waterfront. It is truly a privilege to serve our guests and we are seeking staff members that show an interest in delivering great service and hospitality, and truly care about delivering great work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry 40 lbs minimum. Able to speak english fluently. Positive and growth mindset. Tendency to see the silver-lining in all situations. Very detail oriented and systems oriented Seeking someone that can work 2-3 days, both lunch or dinner shifts.
EXPERIENCE
Customer service oriented work2 years minimum. Hospitality training, hotels, f&b industry experience preferred but not absolute.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION
Ability to work with different POS systems and has worked with technology to take orders, make orders, and to communicate with staff.
