Seeking a seasonal server to join our team with the potential to stay on after the busy summer comes to an end at one of our locations.
The time is upon us where we open for additional days for the busy summer month at our super popular Valley Ford Cafe, a popular stop for locals and tourists on the way to Bodega Bay.
We are willing to train the right candidate, but this is a great gig for someone experienced who loves running the show.
SHIFTS NEEDED: Weekdays from 7am - 3pm (great opportunity to work a busy restaurant without the late night grind), with potential to cover some weekends if needed.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sustainably sourced, ethical and organic food, beyond excellent service, and who are excited about working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating customers
Taking orders and answering menu questions
Delivering food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner
Upselling menu items and promoting specials
Handling payments and managing customer tabs
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, great team player, with a can do attitude regarding all aspects of working in a successful restaurant
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
