Sous chef/ Line Cook “LE MARAIS BAKERY”

Le Marais Bakery is looking for talented, diligent, organized Chef Cook to join our wonderful team at our Mill Valley location. The candidate will work alongside our Executive chef and the kitchen team to transform the best products provided from the best farmers' market offerings and fine ingredients. Love of cooking, finish work, and the capacity to work under pressure, are all a must. Offering excellent pay based on experience, a great environment and opportunity for learning and growth in our Bistro.

Prepare everything from scratch daily, following classic artisanal traditions making French soups, salads and classic dishes the very best local and French ingredients.

This full time position includes:

Setting up the mise en place for the lunch / dinner service respecting the company standard with other kitchen team members

Assisting the Executive chef in the menu development, keeping track of the supplies inventory and keeping a clean work environment.

Applicants will be required to come in for a paid stage before being offered a position.
