The Wolf in Oakland is in search of a line cook. We are asking for a minimum of 2 years of experience in a full service restaurant with experience on pantry, grill, and sauté stations. Our ideal candidate is someone with a passion for cooking, appreciation for local produce and proteins, enjoys working in a team oriented environment, and has excellent communication skills. Monday and weekend availability is a must.
Job description includes:
- prepares the mis en place for the assigned station shift in a timely manner and executing menu items as directed
- communicates with the team on timing of food during service
- manages quality of ingredients
- assists the kitchen in receiving deliveries
- nighttime closing includes writing a thorough station inventory/prep list
Schedule requirements: Monday, Friday, and Saturday availability is required in order to apply for the job. Must be flexible with morning and night shifts.
