The Wine Room in Downtown Palo Alto is seeking a full/part time wine-tender.
The Wine Room, voted best wine bar in Palo Alto 17 years running, is a warm, cozy, inviting environment that caters to local downtown residents, as well as Stanford University and the tech-ies of Silicon Valley.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
3+ years restaurant/bar/wine experience.
Honest and Trustworthy with impeccable references very important
Better than average wine knowledge (Worldwide)
Excellent wine sales ability
Outgoing/friendly personality
Self-motivated
Should live close to the Palo Alto area
Have your own car
Computer/Tech savvy
Excellent time management skills
Must be able to work late nights/weekends
Being a team player is a must, as we are a small family.
