Woods Beer & Wine Co. is a family of bars, brewpubs, and wineries around the Bay Area. We have a busy brewpub next to Dolores Park, a cozy satellite bar in Russian Hill, a production brewery and winery on Treasure Island, an outpost in the Outer Sunset, and a new bar in the Lower Haight. Position: BartenderMust be able to work Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays!
Our number-one requirement in a prospective bartender is a love of people. We get all typesa huge cross section of the Bay walks through our doors, from die-hard beer nerds to first-timers. We make creative, adventurous small-batch beers, but we're not beer snobs. Enthusiasm for engaging with and educating our customers about the beers we make and the guest beers we serve is paramount.
This position requires responsibility, independence, excellent organizational skills, and basic beer knowledge.
You must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds, and have significant availability on weekends.
