BACK OFFICE DENTAL ASSISTANT
A beautiful established periodontal practice is looking for a friendly person to join our team as a back-office dental/surgical assistant.
Desired Skills & Experience
You need to have x-ray license and dental assisting certificate.
A happy team player with a positive attitude towards coworkers, patients, and referring doctors.
Excellent verbal and written English skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service to our patients.
Has to be a good listener to well understand patient's needs and desires and keep them calm during the procedure.
Ability to multitask in dental office duties and help coworkers whenever needed.
Understand and abide by HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient records.
Proficiency in computers and being able to type in Microsoft Word, outlook, and Eaglesoft.
Training will be provided to the right person.
The tasks include but are not limited to:
chairside assisting
setup and breakdown of the room
Sterilization
Taking notes and inputting data in the Eaglesoft software
inventory and supply check
check-in a check-out patients
Other duties as assigned
Work hours:
Full-time position Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00.
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on the applicant's experience with additional bonuses, holidays, vacations, medical insurance, in-house dental coverage, and 401k benefits. Training for the job will be provided for the right candidate.
