Camp Nurse/Health Officer
Cazadero Performing Arts Camp is looking for qualified medical professionals to work one week-long session or multiple week-long sessions at their Youth Summer Music Camp, running from June 16 to August 2. Pay is $600-$1,500/wk depending on qualifications, plus room and board.
Responsible for well being of campers and staff in a beautiful camp setting set in an old growth redwood forest near Guerneville. Excellent opportunity to gain experience, and spend a week or more in a great outdoor setting, while enjoying fabulous music performed by up and coming young musicians.

Job Description:
Under supervision of Camp Director, Health Officers are on call 24 hours a day to provide emergency medical treatment to campers and staff. In consultation with Executive Staff, Health Officers receive the camper medical forms on or before the first day of the session and review them to assess the medical status of the campers. Health Officers also receive any medications that the campers bring to camp, with instructions about dosage and timing, and administer medicine and shots prescribed by a doctor. Selects and purchases supplies for infirmary, prepares incident/accident reports, checks and files camper medical records. Consults with Deans and Counselors as necessary.
Must have a Registered Nurse License or Physician License issued by the State of California, or be a certified EMT with the State of California. We also accept applications from CNAs, LVNs, and Medical Assistants. Must have valid a valid US driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance. Must complete Live Scan fingerprinting/background check. Health Officers must commit to working at least one week or session.
