I'm looking for a caregiver for my 93yr old mother. Four days a week, four hours each day,
9:00am-1:00pm, Tue, Wed, Thur., Fri. (16 hours a week.)
This person should be comfortable working with the elderly and their personal care needs. Be dependable and have reliable transportation.
Primary responsibilities include:
Getting her up and ready for the day (washing up, changing diaper & clothes.)
Assist her with range of motion exercises.
Transferring from the bed to wheelchair or recliner with the use of a Hoyer lift
(Someone will be available to assist with this.)
Prepare breakfast and assist with eating as needed, clean up and help with taking medications.
Current pay rate: $19.54, per hour plus benefits.
Wages will be paid through the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program and/or recipient Share of Cost (SOC). You must be registered with Santa Clara County IHSS or be willing to enroll. If not enrolled, certification and training are at no cost and it’s easy to apply at

A background check will be done and vetted through the IHSS program. You can begin working during the IHSS certification process.
