Private home care for my 90 year old mother. She is bilingual in English/Japanese; and cognitively intact. She has Parkinson's disease and needs assistance with her ADL's. The applicant MUST be in the IHSS system or actively applying to become an IHSS caretaker in San Francisco.
- 1 Part-time positions: Saturday & Sunday from 8am - 6pm (10 hrs) or 9am - 7pm
- IHSS pay of $21.50 per hr; in addition $5 an hour
- Needing assistance with light cleaning, meal preparation, washing/drying clothes, transferring her on a walker to be wheeled into the kitchen or bathroom, assistance with eating, brushing teeth, taking a shower and taking her outside with her wheelchair for a 30 minute stroll.
- Looking for a compassionate person who genuinely enjoys caring for the elderly
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Japanese speaking is a Plus, but not required
- Looking for a respectful, attentive person
You will be paid through IHSS and would need to get certified through them. It entails watching a video, filling out paperwork and paying a small fee to get fingerprinted.
