PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Clinic Manager oversees the efficient delivery of primary health care services while ensuring a high level of customer service. They strive to optimize productivity and patient access, provide administrative supervision to clinical support staff, and foster positive working relationships with both patients and employees. The Clinic Manager models a culture of teamwork to ensure excellent patient experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate clinical and support staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
Oversee clinic operations and patients flow across all specialties to ensure efficiency and positive experience.
Manage Care Team panel activities and drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff performance.
Resolve patient insurance/payment issues and complaints, escalating formal concerns as needed.
Lead clinic department meetings, monitor key metrics, and implement operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with Infection Control standards, vaccine requirements, and emergency preparedness protocols.
Oversee clinic facilities, equipment, inventory, IT/EMR issues, and internal/external audits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in public health, Community Health, Health Services, Social Services, or a related field required.
Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience or progressively increasing responsibility for staff supervision.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled with standard office equipment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient health and financial information.
English and Spanish bilingual.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with quality improvement in health care and customer service.
Knowledge of community health and primary care.
Experience with population health registries or related software.
