This is a position for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am - 5pm.
We have a modern dental office and are looking for a dental assistant (RDA or DA) to join our wonderful team. Great customer service skills, adaptability, and willingness to grow are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take digital dental x-rays
-Scan using itero scanner
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program and/or pre-dental student
- X-ray certification
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience in assisting with cosmetic dental procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems or itero for digital impressions is a plus
