Veterinary Hospital in Santa Cruz seeks entry level employee for our Kennel Assistant opening.
This position assists with animal care, grooming, and technician support as well as laundry, cleaning, and general janitorial duties. Position is PART TIME. Approximate hours will be afternoons/evenings from 2 pm to between 7 and 8 pm, 3 to 5 days a week plus Saturdays 8am to 3pm. Candidate must be able to lift 35 lbs., restrain animals (with training), and work independently.
Candidate do not need previous experience in an animal care industry, however a genuine liking and willingness to handle both dogs and cats is required.
