Prominent Oral Surgery Practice is seeking an experienced oral assistant who is sedation trained to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional oral surgery care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate oral surgery assistant who shares our passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the oral surgeon during procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Take patient x-rays and impressions
- Update patient records and charts
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Perform other duties as assigned by the oral surgeon
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant program
- Current CPR, ACLS certification
- Experience in oral surgery acting as a sedation assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
