A private family seeks an experienced and attentive live-in female only caregiver to become part of the team primarily taking care of their father in the Caribbean. He is in his 90s and has dementia. Duties: bathing, grooming, changing adult diapers, cooking, medication prompting, and light housekeeping. You’ll become part of a friendly team in a nice house with Wifi and good outdoor space, including a swimming pool. Two caregivers will be working together most of the time. The team stays isolated in the home except for vacations, to prevent any infections; groceries etc. are delivered. You may also be asked to help take care of the family’s mother, who lives on a separate property in Westchester. This would require you to learn to cook some more advanced recipes. Must be fully vaccinated. Fluent English and a currently valid U.S. passport, or Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) required. 2 weeks paid vacation in the first year. Legal pay only with W2. All travel and living expenses paid. You should be able to save most of your salary.
Any questions you have will be fully addressed in the interview. Also, you will be given the chance to speak directly with the people currently working for us, to describe the work and the living situation.
