Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group is seeking an ophthalmic assistant/technician to join our team. We are a busy ophthalmology group specializing in refractive and cataract surgery. This is a full-time position, no evenings or weekends. Please note: this is not an internship position. The right candidate is enthusiastic, a team-player, organized, able to multi-task and has a passion for working with people.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: obtain eye and health history, perform appropriate screening tests (e.g.tonometry, OCT, topography, visual field and konan), administer eye drops, assist physician with exam room procedures, scribe for the physician and help in other areas of the office as needed.
