Optometry office in San Ramon seeking an Optical Assistant. Must be an energetic, passionate individual willing to work occasional Saturdays. Knowledge of vision plans and medical insurances are a plus but not necessary. Computer skills and excellent customer service skills are a must. Short commute to San Ramon is preferred. Position is open for part or full-time. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Duties will include but are not limited to: triaging patients, using electronic health records system, operating pretesting equipment, ordering contact lenses, and additional office duties.
Minimum qualifications:
-Excellent communication skills
-Organized, dependable, and punctual
-Personable and courteous, with a professional attitude and attire
-Basic math and typing skills
-Computer literate
