Seeking A Special Needs Companion/Aide
Looking for someone who has experience with special needs young adults. You will be working with a very athletic, high functioning 25-year-old young man with developmental disabilities. This is a relatively easy gig, activities include: playing basketball, hiking (driving necessary), bike riding, accompany to volunteer work (or other type of job skills training) like food bank (TBD), help with learning independent living and facilitating social skills. Potential (TBD) activities may include going to restaurants, taking acting class together, teaching Spanish etc. We are setting up a Tailored Day Program that meet his needs.
Male preferred. Hours somewhat flexible, 20 hours per week @ $24.00/hour
Requirements:
Clean Drug screen & background check
Valid CADL & Clean DMV driving record,
Needs to own a car, will reimburse for mileage
