JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Handyman
Position Status: Part Time/Hourly Wage
Reports To: Proprietor/Assistant to Proprietor/President
Location: Napa | Yountville | St. Helena | Healdsburg | SF Bay Area as needed
POSITION SUMMARY
The handyman is responsible for (but not limited to) basic to complex property maintenance for Blackbird Vineyard including the proprietor’s private property, ÆRENA Galleries and Latour Court offices, as well assist in wine, art, design transports and inventory repair.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Property maintenance for:
o Blackbird Vineyard (1330 Oak Knoll Avenue).
o Proprietor’s private property (Big Ranch Road & Vallejo Street).
o ÆRENA Galleries (Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Healdsburg & Auberge du Soleil).
Wine, art, and design inventory transportation (backup as needed).
The below are optional, but let us know if you have the skillset in any of these areas:
Janitorial and recycling duties (on occasion).
Art / Design Inventory repair (optional).
Vehicle maintenance and/or repair (optional).
Pool and hot tub maintenance (optional).
Experience with furniture repair (optional).
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work weekends and available on-call (on occasion).
Experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
Must have own reliable vehicle, preferably a large bed truck.
Must provide their own tools.
Able to multi-task and take direction.
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and positive attitude.
Preferably able to operate a forklift, pallet jack & large truck.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 60+ pounds.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
