Position Summary
Master Mechanic is responsible for independently providing hands-on maintenance and repair services to all areas of facility and bottling operations including equipment, infrastructure, fixtures, furnishings and buildings.
Responsibilities
· Independently performs routine and preventative maintenance of all bottling line and production equipment which includes machine adjustments, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
· Purchase supplies for projects and repair maintenance inventory.
· In conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor, plan, document, and analyze all maintenance operations.
· Read and understand machine manuals, blue prints, electrical drawings.
· Communicate mechanical conditions of bottling equipment to Bottling Manager, schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance with bottling team.
· Monitor line conditions for repair and maintenance assignments.
· Review and modify PM schedule, review all bottling maintenance work orders after completion.
· Order maintenance materials, equipment repair, spare parts, and change parts as needed and maintain and organize shop (Change parts, spare parts, records, machinery, tools, etc.).
· Coordinate plan development for annual maintenance during scheduled shutdown periods with the Maintenance Supervisor and Bottling Manager.
· Evaluate and revise Work Procedures and Plans including documentation, planning and performance of package changeovers.
· In conjunction with Supervisor, responsible for coordination of projects, equipment modification and installation of line changes.
· Establish standards for machine set-up and operation (i.e. procedures and protocols, control of package application to meet quality control standards and improve line efficiencies.
· Plan for effective line changeovers.
· Assist bottling team to analyze down time reports to identify and make possible corrections excessive down time
· As necessary, make recommendations for purchase of high value repair and maintenance materials.
· Design, develop, and implement equipment installations or systems on the bottling lines.
· Assist in evaluating and testing supplies or redesigned packages and communicate the results.
· Preparation and installation of equipment, including the fabrication of simple parts and troubleshooting production equipment.
· May lead other lower level mechanics on various projects.
· Perform liquid and gas plumbing, and rough carpentry. Occasionally perform finish work.
· Able to complete assignments and work orders with minimal supervision.
· Ability to operate and be licensed and certified to operate industrial equipment like forklifts, booms, etc.
· Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
· Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.
Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma/GED with 8-10 Years of Experience Required. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
· Knowledge of Cooling systems (Glycol Ammonia)
· Forklift Certified
· RETA certified (where applicable)
· LOTO/Confined Space Certified
· Valid CA Driver’s License
· Good mechanical and spatial aptitude & all round technical

· Is exposed to loud noise, dust, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
· Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
· Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift, pull, push and carry 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently
· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
· Must be able to stand, kneel, bend and walk for extended periods of time
· Must have good dexterity, vision, talk and hearing
· Must be able to work from heights and in small spaces
· Must be able to work irregular shifts, including graveyard, and long hours may be required, particularly during harvest.
· Travel Required: Occasionally

The salary range for this role is:
$36.71 - $61.19
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
