Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic part-time Field Technician to assist with the maintenance, and repair of advanced wastewater treatment systems. This is a hands-on role for people with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. You’ll be working in the field alongside our primary technician, willing to train you, contributing to a vital and growing field. You’ll get to work outside and see beautiful sights that California has to offer.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of system components, including control panels and other mechanical parts.
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues.
Perform routine maintenance, including inspections and water sampling.
Learn to evaluate systems and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
About You:
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Mechanically inclined and able to use tools.
Can learn quickly and follow instructions.
Basic electrical knowledge and experience is helpful.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable working outdoors in beautiful California.
Location: Primarily serving locations within Santa Cruz County. Some work in Santa Clara and Monterey Counties.
Hours: Part-time, hourly position with flexible scheduling. Starting immediately.
