Overview:

The Racers Group, a premier motorsports team specializing in Porsche and Aston Martin vehicles, is seeking a meticulous and organized Parts Catalog Specialist. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-performance automotive parts. The Parts Catalog Specialist will play a crucial role in cataloging and organizing Porsche and Aston Martin parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

o Catalog and organize Porsche and Aston Martin parts as well as team gear and clothing/ merchandise.

o Maintain accurate records of all parts, including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and locations.

o Update and manage the parts database to ensure all information is current and correct.

o Seek out online sales outlets worldwide, as well as clubs and any parts sales events or opportunities

o Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.

Data Entry:

o Enter detailed information for each part into the inventory management system.

o Ensure all data entry is accurate and consistent with company standards.

Quality Control:

o Inspect parts for quality and condition before cataloging.

o Report any damaged or defective parts to the appropriate department.

Collaboration:

o Work closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure efficient parts handling and storage.

o Assist in coordinating the receipt and distribution of parts as needed.

Documentation:

o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for parts, including technical specifications and usage guidelines.

o Generate reports on inventory status and parts usage.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in parts cataloging, inventory management, or a related field a plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or inventory management is a plus.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to lift and move parts as needed (up to 60 lbs).

Duration:

This is a temporary part-time or full-time position that can work into a complete full-time position for the right candidate The duration of temporary employment will be from Now, June, to Late August, with the possibility of extension based on ability and business needs.
