A fast-growing immigration law firm based in Pleasanton has immediate openings for a paralegal and a legal assistant. We specialize in comprehensive employment-based and family-based immigration services. The job duties and qualifications are as below.
PARALEGAL
- Research, prepare, and drafting petition letters and supporting document for applications to the US government agencies.
- Communicate with clients for document collection and case updates.
- Manage case files from start to finish including document preparation, filling out the forms, drafting petition letters, case filing scanning, copying and shipping.
- Bachelor degree from a U.S. university
- Excellent writing skills and strong analytical ability.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-sensitive and motivated to work.
- At least two-year work experience in employment-based immigration law cases, such as H-1B, O-1, NIW and PERM
For experienced paralegals, your workplace model could be hybrid (3-day full-time and 2-day remote) after the first three-month on-site orientation. High efficiency employees are awarded with extra bonus after meeting the performance goal.
LEGAL ASSISTANT
- Bachelor degree or higher from a U.S. college
- conversant in Chinese is a plus
- Prepare engagement letters, supporting documents and forms
- Assist in office management, bookkeeping, shipping and other administrative matters
- Detail-oriented, deadline-sensitive and motivated to work
- At least one year office work experience
