Legal Secretary/Assistant For Busy Workers' Compensation Defense Firm
Busy Workers' Compensation defense law firm in the Rose Garden area of San Jose is looking for a full-time legal secretary/assistant to join our legal team. Our compensation package includes a generous salary and year-end bonus, medical benefits, Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan and 401k option with employer contribution. Salary is commensurate with experience and talent.
In addition to the compensation package, this position offers flexible hours and a hybrid in-office and work from home schedule. In order to be considered for the position candidates must be able to work remotely, have their own desktop/laptop, scanning capabilities, cellphone and internet connection.
We are looking for applicants who are highly skilled and motivated who can handle heavy volume and prepare high-quality correspondence and pleadings. Candidates must have strong organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills. Candidates should also have familiarity with clerical responsibilities and administrative aspects of the legal field.
The ideal candidate will also have the following qualifications:
3+ years of Workers' Compensation experience (applicant and/or defense)
Experience/familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 programs
Experience/familiarity with Adobe programs
Experience/familiarity with EAMS system and electronic filing
