Hopkins & Carley, an established and dynamic law firm with offices in downtown San Jose and Redwood City, is currently seeking a full-time professional Litigation Paralegal in its San Jose office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled paralegal with direct commercial litigation experience (IP Litigation experience preferred, but not required).
The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or paralegal certificate, have a minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation paralegal experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage a variety of active cases. The position requires strong document and pleading drafting experience, a strong knowledge of civil procedure, discovery, trial preparation and in-courtroom trial experience in State and Federal courts, and experience in all aspects of e-discovery. Computer experience strongly preferred in MS Word, Excel, Litera Create, Relativity, Westlaw, Lexis and NetDocuments.
The anticipated hourly pay range Hopkins & Carley reasonably expects to pay for this California-based position at the time of posting is $54.00 - $71.00. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, the type and years of experience in the job, type and years of experience in the industry, education, and overall qualifications and skill set.
