Small, busy law firm based in the Bay Area with a state-wide practice seeks a contract attorney for transactions and litigation work to join our team, with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Northern or Southern California applicants accepted. California bar license required. The candidate must have at least seven years of experience handling transactions and litigation matters in private practice. Work will be 10 to 20 hours per week at $150 to $175 per hour, depending on experience. The candidate must be committed, reliable and able to work at a fast pace with great attention to detail and minimal supervision, as most work is remote at this time (from your office or home). Projects are diverse and will keep the candidate busy. Client and team meetings/calls and court appearances (all mostly via Zoom currently) are required.
