Whitemore James Black is presently assisting a small Bay Area law office on their search for a contract and part-time Litigation Attorney. The firm focuses on traditional criminal matters, white collar matters, and civil litigation. The expected hours would be 10-20 per week, though this could increase after time working together.
The firm is seeking an attorney to help with criminal and/or civil matters. If an attorney has experience with both areas that would be ideal, though the firm is also considering attorneys with a focus in one or the other and can assign work based on the skill set of the attorney hired.
Expected duties would be:
Civil Litigation: Discovery & Trial Prep
Criminal: Anything from reviewing discovery to making court appearances.
The hourly pay rate is expected to be around $100.00 hourly on a W-2 basis. All hours worked will be compensated.
