We are a relatively new, small Workers Comp Applicant Attorney’s office in San Jose looking to hire a legal assistant with a minimum of 1 year of Applicants’ experience. May consider the right candidate with no experience who is willing to learn, be trained, and who cares about helping injured workers.

Job duties include:
Transfers of care
Answering phone calls from doctors' offices, injured workers, and opposing law offices
EAMS electronic case document filings
QME panel requests
Schedule client meetings, phone conferences, doctor appointments, and QME evaluations
Secure interpreters
Other tasks as assigned
Most desired qualifications:
Knowledge of EAMS e-filing
Multi-tasking various duties/tasks/deadlines efficiently and on time
Must be fluent in Spanish - written and oral
Most importantly, must be kind, compassionate, and desirous in assisting others. Otherwise, this is not the job for you.
