We are currently looking for an additional Customer Service Representative to support our sales team. Our showroom and office environment is extremely dynamic and fast-paced, and this is a job that requires you to be actively engaged with both customers and manufacturers.
This is a wonderful, entry level position for anyone who is interested in the interior design field. Experience in luxury retail sales support or customer service is desired. A positive and enthusiastic attitude and an affinity for details are required.
Customer Service Duties:
Handle incoming phone calls: answering customer inquiries for stock/pricing, order status and other general information
Process customer orders with multiple vendors, following order though shipping and receipt
Follow up with clients on outstanding orders or invoice balances
Proactively manage order or shipping issues, collaborating with sales staff and management as necessary to find a resolution
Administrative Duties:
Maintain and update client database
General office duties such as filing and processing mail
Any other projects assigned by the Management
Skills Required:
Knowledge of textiles, interior design or fine art
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to multitask; juggling multiple inputs, priorities and deadlines; follow through to completion on all tasks
Ability to work in a team environment, sharing responsibility for tasks as volume fluctuates
Experience with general office software including email, word processing, spreadsheets or accounting software and ability to learn new systems quickly. Knowledge of CMS, or CRM systems is highly desired as well as experience working in a team environment with shared document libraries and calendars.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30PM
