JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior Interior Designer is responsible for supporting the principal in all phases of design work. This job includes but is not limited to the following: note taking during client meetings, creating and updating ArchiCAD plan sets, developing design presentations, putting together product proposals, invoicing and purchasing, collaborating with outside vendors and trades, maintaining the sample library, as well as supporting with furniture, fixture and equipment selections.

Able to haul heavy samples and small furniture during presentations or installations
SKILLS
Architecture or Interior Design degree or similar work experience
Minimum 2 years experience in the architecture, design or construction industry
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Google Docs
Sketchup or other 3D rendering capabilities
Strong organizational abilities
Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for residential remodels
Knowledge of furniture, lighting, finishes, materials and color selections
Collaborative, self motivated, positive, adaptable and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills
Extremely detail oriented
Excellent customer service skills and comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and trades people
Houzz Pro project management software knowledge a plus
