Frame shop located in Berkeley is seeking an experienced picture framer. This is a part-time position, with flexible hours which may lead to full time work. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of framing - joining frames, using a computerized mat cutter, hand cutting mats, archival mounting techniques, ability to cut all types of glazing, building mat walls, installing spacers, stretching canvases, floating canvases, and fitting artwork into frames, etc. This is also a sales position. The ideal candidate should be familiar with frame design software, have excellent customer service skills, and an eye for creative and pleasing designs.
