First off, our apologies for those that applied when we initially posted this opportunity. We hit an unexpected set back. We are back on track and looking to team-up with the right person!
Second, we are still looking for an available and consistent part-time contractor to assist with order fulfillment with the PhdPosters San Francisco Branch. You would be responsible for printing posters, carefully packaging said posters for pick-up, mail order, or delivery; and other minor admin responsibilities. We've been operating and doing business in the Inner Sunset neighborhood for 11 years. We suddenly find ourselves without staff to fulfill our orders and serve our customers. We'd like to rectify that responsibly and as soon as possible.
Compensation: Flat amount per month w/bonus opportunities
Time Expectation: 1-2 hours per day Monday-Friday (morning or evening). The 1-2 hours/day is an average. Business is seasonal, some weeks you will only need to go in a few times a week, other times of year it will be every day. It balances out pretty evenly. Therefore flexibility to stay longer if needed, i.e. higher # of orders and/or technical issues (this can and will happen at some point), is important.
Ideal Candidate: A reliable, trustworthy, consistent someone that lives in the Inner Sunset. Preferably has a car for poster delivery (within SF ONLY; Exception: Large group orders ONLY). Perhaps a UCSF student, art/design, tech professional looking to supplement income, or anyone who is somewhat tech saavy, doesn't get flustered easily, and has a flexible schedule looking to supplement income.
