DELIVERY DRIVER / SHIPPING / RECEIVING AREA
Full time opening on day shift. Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 5:00, Friday 8:00 – 2:30.
Competitive compensation based on experience
Duties primarily involve making bay area deliveries and pickups, packaging and boxing, labeling, inventory counts, shipping & receiving data entry.
Experience with FedEx, UPS preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be motivated, courteous, professional, accurate and dependable, with good communication skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid CA Driver License with clean driving record.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving, Shipping and Receiving position in a machine shop. Requires a flexible, aggressive individual able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with limited direct supervision. Job duties will be based by work load in the Shipping and Receiving Departments. Responsibilities will include packaging parts to protect from damage during storage and transit, loading and unloading of trucks using forklift, processing shipping documents for domestic and international shipments using FedEx, UPS. Must possess excellent time-management skills, maintain professional attitude at all times, and exhibit a service-oriented mindset at all times. Must have ability to read and write English, and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies. Candidate must be able to sort, check, count and verify numbers, detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel. Will be required to meet daily shipment schedules, create shipping documentation, schedule and coordinate carriers and freight forwarders, order packaging materials and provide exemplary service to internal and external customers.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities
Ability to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
Attention to detail
Previous shipping experience in a manufacturing environment
Microsoft Excel/Word, UPS/FEDEX SHIPPING
Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement
Receive incoming material, determining space and storage requirements
Data entry for all material movement
Process purchase receipts for material
Pick and pack customer shipments
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
