SV Techsol, Inc. is actively seeking full-time Shipping and Receiving Associates to join our team in Campbell, CA.
Job Description
Perform general material handling duties including stocking, packaging, and issuing of inventory items.
Perform general cleaning, wrapping, and packaging of product for shipment.
Driver – deliver the product to customers and pick up Work in Process
Manage daily shipments to customers by packaging and labeling outgoing shipments per the customers' request or specifications.
Schedule and secure cost-effective transportation of products to meet our customers' shipping requirements; maintain relationships with shipping providers and resolve any shipping issues
Must be able to handle telephone and email communication with customers and freight companies.
Work with management and customers to resolve discrepancies. (RMA)
Utilize the computer to assist in determining the status of parts; keep daily updates on the build status.
Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to ensure completion and on-time shipment; prepares/maintains weekly records to report status/progress of assignments to management.
Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules; may ensure incoming materials are correctly routed.
Maintain physical condition of the warehouse; control warehouse supply and inventory levels through physical counts; reconcile with data storage system
Job Skills/Requirements
Must have a high school diploma
Must have 1+ years of material handling, packaging, shipping/receiving, and warehouse experience.
Must be familiar with basic component identification, part number systems, material handling equipment, and the inventory management.
Must have basic computer skills such as data entry, word processing, and internet use with programs such as Microsoft Word/Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and requires standing and moving about the facility constantly.
Requires a valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping procedures is a plus.
Ability to organize and quickly learn various product types
Knowledge of procedures for pallet jack, hand truck, and proper lifting techniques.
Proper shipping and packaging procedures
Knowledge of hand tools i.e. drills, socket sets, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
Knowledge of proper warehouse operating and safety procedures
