Production Technician
The duties of a Production Technician include assisting in supply receiving, processing, recordkeeping, packaging, sanitization & maintenance. A basic understanding of food safety and personal hygiene is required. Technicians are trained in Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls (HARPC), among other skills.
Responsibilities
Receive and store supplies and ingredients.
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
Processing products.
Ensure products are prepared in accordance with FSMA standards.
Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment.
Keep accurate operational and production records.
Follow production guidelines and specifications.
Report any issues to the supervisor on duty.
Performing other tasks as assigned.
Follow health and safety standards.
Requirements
High school diploma/GED.
Able to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Physical dexterity - must be capable of lifting >40lbs.
Available for shift work.
