Leadership:
Ensure safety practices are followed, including wearing safety glasses at all times.
Oversee the work of 3-4 CNC Operators.
Coordinate with Operations Manager on material ordering.
Coordinate jobs for up to 10 CNC milling and turning machines.
Cutting tool management, ordering, and inventory control.
Oversee CNC machine maintenance program and schedule.
Provide basic CNC machine troubleshooting and servicing abilities.
Manage finished (non-plated) parts inventory.
Oversee facility maintenance program and schedule.
CNC Machine Setup:
Fully capable of production setups for Haas CNC vertical mills and live tool lathes.
Train CNC Operators on setup methods and techniques.
Develop, manage, and oversee on-floor quality control processes and program.
Desired Capabilities:
Fixture making.
CNC programming
3D software use (Solidworks, Mastercam, Fusion)
Advanced CNC machine troubleshooting and servicing abilities.
Prototype-making.
