Freckle's Pickles is a thriving Bay Area specialty food manufacturer known for our handcrafted, artisanal pickled products. We're expanding throughout the Bay Area and seeking detail-oriented team members with upbeat attitudes to join our manufacturing department.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Join our manufacturing team in crafting small-batch, artisanal pickled products. You'll be part of a dedicated team creating high-quality, flavorful products for our growing Bay Area customer base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare ingredients for pickling process
Follow detailed recipes and production procedures
Maintain strict food safety and quality standards
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
Package finished products
Work collaboratively in a team environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Detail-oriented with proven ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
Physical stamina to stand and work for 6-8 hour shifts
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
Comfort working with hot pepper varieties (protective equipment provided)
Reliable transportation
Ability to obtain Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days (reimbursed)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years food preparation experience
Current Food Handlers Certificate
Experience in fast-paced, detail-oriented work environments
Commercial kitchen experience
