Uni-Fab Industries is looking for a well-seasoned Shop Foreman to join a fast-paced rapidly growing company that specializes in custom Sheetmetal, machined products, and assemblies. Company has internal paint shop & silkscreen; shop is clean and organized with full shop air-conditioning in the summer.
Job Specifications / Daily Activity
Specific to Precision Sheet Metal & Machining operations and Processes
Organize production flow
Place employees at needed production stations based on schedules
Lead/Assist with all production issues as a problem solver
Oversee all aspects of production, safety, cleanliness, and quality control
Coordinate scheduling and production with Production Manager
Ensure product meets or exceeds industry standard
Product and Process Knowledge
Equipment and Maintenance Knowledge
Customer Service and Staff Interaction
Detail Oriented, Critical Thinker and Multi-Tasking
Minimum Requirements for Position
Must have 10 years’ experience as Foreman, Supervising 60+ employees
Knowledge of operating & safety of metal fabrication equipment.
Must be able to demonstrate proven productivity and set example
Must have computer skills with ERP system and Microsoft Office, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail oriented
Must be self-motivated and punctual
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills with staff
Educational Background:
GED
Technical Schooling (A plus)
