We are a busy plastic fabrication shop in Fremont. We CNC machine, bend, and glue plastic parts and assemblies. We are looking for someone with superior attention to detail who can deburr, inspect, package and ship machined plastic parts and assemblies. Also occasional help receiving materials (ability to drive a fork lift would be helpful). Ability to read and interpret part drawings and blueprints would be helpful. Applicant should be comfortable, and safe, using basic shop tools, such as table routers, band saw, table saw, hand deburring tools, etc. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and have good eyesight for close inspection of parts. We're looking for someone who stays productive and moves from task to task with minimal supervision.
If you are successful at these tasks, we offer the opportunity for learning additional skills, such as CNC machining, fabrication work, plastic welding, with corresponding pay increases.
Hours are Mon. thru Thurs. 6:30 a.m. to 4pm, and Friday 9am to 1pm (an Alternate Work Week Schedule).
