The CoA is looking for Volunteers to help at the Oakland Church.
The CoA is a nondenominational, interfaith religious organization that supports the use and safe access of all Entheogenic Plants, with a focus on Cannabis and Magic Mushrooms.
Volunteers can help with the following:
-Church Member services
Help answer questions, help guide Church Members, inventory, stocking, help at Church events, help onboard new members, etc.
-Basic cleaning
Making sure surfaces are kept clean, make sure the bathrooms are clean and stocked properly, if there is trash make sure to clean it up properly, if there is a spill make sure to clean it up, etc.
Awareness of safety
Helping Church Members access the Church, being aware of which Volunteers are helping that day, ensuring Security Guards are properly relieved when needed, etc.
-These positions require bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 40 pounds. These positions may require standing up to four hours at a time
-The job may also require driving. A valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required
Who the Church is looking for:
-Must be 21+
-Reliable and helpful individuals with positive demeanors.
-Ability to interact with the public
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Experience handling cash
-No known Entheogenic Plants allergies
Bonus but not required:
-Past experience working with Entheogenic Plants
-BILINGUAL (Spanish) or MULTILINGUAL
-Experience in Customer Service, Human Resources, Healing, or similar experience a plus but not required
-Knowledge of health, safety and security protocols
-Organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with focus and attention to details
-Previous experience in management, operations, a collective or a combination of related experience and relevant education
