Our CPA firm is located across the freeway from the old Oakland Arena. We are an office of 25+ employees and are looking for an energetic and reliable person to add to our Administrative Team.
This deadline-oriented position works closely with other administrative staff members. Our ideal candidate will have an approachable and professional demeanor, be a team player but able to work independently, is diligent and organized.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years recent office experience in a professional work environment
(CPA firm or experience with Tax Return assembly/processing preferred)
Overtime is required during tax seasons in April and October
Strong computer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Ability to work with a broad range of software applications
Ability to identify advance projects or tasks without constant direction or supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills interacting with staff and clients
Minimal IT knowledge preferred, but not required
Ability to handle multi-line phone system
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to our Accounting and Tax Staff and Partners
Electronic document filing
Organize, email, fax/scan confidential documents and financial information
Maintain various information logs with different deadlines
Copying, organizing, filing, and other miscellaneous administrative projects
Backup to receptionist – greet clients and operate a multi-line phone system
